Emergency Asbestos Removal in Harrison, Day or Night
When something is already broken open, you get calm direction over the phone and a crew sent out to seal it off and clean it up.
What Should You Do in the Next Few Minutes?
Start by stopping whatever is breaking it up. If someone is still cutting or prying, have them set the tool down. Get the kids, the adults and the dog out, and shut that door. Kill the furnace blower, air handler or window unit that serves that space so it cannot carry dust down the hall. Leave brooms and shop vacuums out of it; ordinary vacuums blow the finest particles right back out the exhaust. If water is part of it, close the valve if you can reach it without walking through debris. Then dial the emergency line. A supervisor will ask what the material looks like, roughly how much is loose and which rooms share air with it, and will talk you through anything else worth doing while the truck is en route. Expect a calm, practical conversation, not a sales call.
What an Emergency Response Includes
First we stop it spreading. Then we deal with it the proper way.
Coaching right on the call
Specific steps for shutting the space down while help travels.
Closing off the room
Doorways, returns and supply vents taped so dust stays put.
HEPA units on arrival
Machines placed so air flows into the damaged space, not away from it.
Damp pickup of debris
Loose pieces misted and collected by hand, never swept.
A lab answer if nobody knows
Unknown material sampled and analyzed so the response fits what it is.
Complete removal
Damaged material stripped under a proper enclosure once things are stable.
Licensed disposal
Waste bagged, tagged and hauled to a site allowed to accept it.
Clearance air sampling
An outside air test before anyone uses the room again.
How the Response Unfolds
The call itself
You describe what happened and what the debris looks like. We coach you through sealing the room.
Enclosure and control
The crew walls the area off, starts the HEPA units and dampens everything loose.
Strip, scrub, test
Damaged material comes out, surfaces are cleaned, and nobody reenters until an outside air sample passes.
Why a Bad Night Ends With Our Number
A human voice every time
Holidays and late nights included, the line rings through to somebody who can act.
Direction, not alarm
You hear exactly what to do in your particular situation, without a lecture.
One crew, start to end
Whoever seals the room also strips it and lines up the clearance test.
- Line staffed every hour
- Room sealed first
- Debris kept damp
- Air checked before reentry
Is Material Loose Right Now?
Clear the room, kill the air that feeds it and dial us. A supervisor carries it from that point.
